One or two trips a day may be scheduled. Advance payment required.

Welcome; Ranch rules explained; Stamps given out to organize teams for
scavenger hunt. |
| 9:10 a.m. |
Scavenger hunt
explained -- Green, yellow, and red teams look for team-color rocks placed
throughout the field trip. Team with the most rocks of
their color at the end of the visit wins the big prize.

Chickens -- Breeds; Hen house visit to gather eggs; Feed the chickens and peacocks.

Pet the bunnies.

Meet the dogs and cats.

Check out the tractor, sit on the seat.

Garden tour -- See flowers, veggies, greenhouses.

HORSES:
Why we separate the boy and girl horses.
Different breeds: Miniatures,
Quarter Horses, Arabians,
Thoroughbreds, Warmbloods, Draft horses, etc.
Different colors defined: Palomino, bay, chestnut, sorrel, paint,
grey, etc.
Horse stalls, bedding, compost pile, feed types.
Horse safety; horse psychology (how horses think and what they
like);
horse body language.
Grooming basics -- Brushes, picks. Some group grooming.
Watch a pro ride.
Photos on a pony or horse (with prior approval from parent)
